第五届水灾害防治与水环境调控国际会议（WDWE 2025）计划于2025年10月在中国重庆举行。
The 5th International Symposium of Water Disaster Mitigation and Water Environment Regulation (WDWE2025) is scheduled to be held in Chongqing, China, in October 2025.
即将召开的此次研讨会的主题是“水、气候变化与特大城市工程解决方案”。会议旨在为全球科研人员提供一个多学科交流平台，分享与讨论关于超大城市在水灾害预防与基于生态系统适应方面的最新科研进展，展示在增强对气候变化引起的水灾害、水污染和生态系统退化的抵御能力，以及促进世界超大城市可持续发展方面的最新发现、创新策略和最佳实践。
The theme of this upcoming symposium is "Water, Climate Change, and Engineering Solutions for Megacities". It aims to serve as a multidisciplinary platform for global researchers to share insights and discuss the latest scientific advancements in water disaster prevention and ecosystem-based adaptation. This is particularly important in the face of the growing uncertainties and challenges climate change poses in megacities. This event will offer a unique opportunity for scientists to present their latest discoveries, innovative strategies, and best practices for enhancing resilience against water disasters, water pollution, and ecosystem degradation to climate variability and promoting sustainable development in the world’s megacities.
第五届水灾害防治与水环境调控国际会议（WDWE2025）将由中国科学院重庆绿色智能技术研究院（CIGIT-CAS）与四川大学山区河流保护与治理全国重点实验室联合主办，重庆交通大学协办。会议还获得了联合国教科文组织（UNESCO）国际水文计划（UNESCO-IHP）和国际水环境工程与研究协会（IHAR）的支持和指导。
The WDWE2025 will be co-organized by the Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CIGIT-CAS), and State Key Laboratory of Hydraulics and Mountain River Engineering, Sichuan University. It will be supported by Chongqing Jiaotong University and also receive support and guidance from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) International Hydrological Program (UNESCO-IHP) and the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR).
